Wonderful Weekend

Friday we went to my moms house and drop off my two little boys. (Kevin stayed home) Saturday we got up and drove to Conroe, TX where we had lunch with Bro. and Sis. Smith. I thought that we were going just to make a couple of new friends but I left there ministered to. Just to get to talk to a seasoned minister and his wife was a blessing.

After we left the restuarant we went to The Woodlands Mall. REAL SHOPPING. (something like Heaven) They had almost all the best stores Thomas Kinkade, GODIVA!!!!! HUMMMM!!

Sunday morning we went to Bro. Whitaker's church in Montgomery, TX. That church is AWESOME. The building is beautiful and the people are so kind. You can tell that they have been very blessed the past three years. Bro. Whitaker preached right at me. His message was great. After church we were privileged to get to eat with the Whitaker Family. They have such a passion for what they do and ALL of their 5 children help.

Sunday night my husband preached an AWESOME message. He spoke about praying past the blessing to the victory. God wants to give us the victory but sometimes we stop at the blessing.

Sunday night after Church me and my husband got away for a date dinner. We went to Pappadeaux. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Perfect date restaurant. Wonderful food.

This whole weekend has been such a blessing for my husband and I. We went to Montgomery wanting to be a blessing to a Home Missions church and we came back blessed and forever changed. I am humbled at the thought that God allowed us to fellowship with The Smiths and The Whitakers, such men and women of God.

The Lord is moving in our lives and I am soooo grateful.

Girl, I told you to make me look skinny. What happened?

We so much enjoyed our lunch with you guys. I knew you would leave the Whitakers blessed. They are absolutely amazing! Glad that we began a new friendship with you and your husband. Isn't the family of God great?

Happy Valentine's Week!!!

Lynda, what a wonderful weekend report. Encouraged me just to read about it.

Want to visit another home mission work? Take a little jaunt our way: Lake Havasu!

Blessings...
