Spring In My Soul

I am sure you have heard the saying "Mountain tops and valleys" Well I feel like I have been in a cavern with all the weight of the mountain on top of me. Dark and cold with no light; a little bit lonely. Even in the "cavern" there were underground streams that the Lord blessed me with.
OHHH but NOW I feel like I have reached the end of my cavern and I am climbing the mountain. The sun is out, the flowers are about to bloom and spring is in the air. NEW LIFE!! I don't mean that my troubles are gone. They are still there they just look different. I have no doubt that the mountain is going to be high. I hope that it is. Places that I have never been before with God.
This mountain will be sweeter because when I get to the top ALL the weight that was on top of me I will have victory over.

Bethany and Braden; The Pitts Family

My husband preached at Bro Pitts' church in Duncan OK Sunday night. We had a really good service. The presence of God was there and my husband preached with the anointing of the Lord.

Bro and Sis Pitts were the youth leaders in Kilgore, TX when I was in the youth there. They were awesome youth leaders then and you can tell that they are great pastor and pastor's wife now.

I have heard all my life"I babysat you when you were little" Well last night I got to say that to Bethany and Braden. LOL

When we were driving out of the parking lot Nathan (my 2yr old) said "That was a good church"

Mommy Break

You know it is time for a mommy break when your kids walk in the room and you hide. LOL

One Last Valentines Day Gift

My son got me 5 lbs of Chocolate Chip cookie dough!!! He is the only one that truely knows me!!! LOL

My Wonderful Father-In-Law

The FedEx drove up in my yard again and I thought "what is my husband up to now?" He always surprises me and I never get to surprise him because when I buy a present I can't wait to give it to the person so I usually give it early.
Anyways it was not my husband it was the man who taught my husband to be so wonderful. The BEST FATHER IN LAW a girl could ask for. He really is the best and I don't just say that when he sends me flowers. I say that all the time.

These are parade roses and it looks like it has about a dozen buds on it. Hopefully I will be able to keep them alive.

Valentines Day!!!!!

My wonderful husband sent me two dozen roses for Valentines Day!! This is one of them, they are just starting to bloom and they are beautiful. I always love it when my husband brings me flowers, which he does often. I even keep special flower scissors for them. THANK YOU, HONEY!! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Hungry for the things of God

There are two types of hunger. 1. nourishment-your body is telling you if you don't eat your body is going to starve to death 2. enjoyment- sweets, things that taste good.

What type of hunger for God do you have? Do you only seek God when you are spiritually starving to death or do you stay nourished so that you hunger for the sweet things of God?

Memories

I LOVE to sing songs with my children. The kind that gets them moving. I was blessed to have has a wonderful sunday school teacher that taught me all the fun songs like I'm in the Lord's Army and I'm a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N. My kids love it they scream faster and of course I do it again faster until I am dizzy. When Nathan tries to sing it with me it makes it that much more fun.
Anyways, what brought this on is I remembered another song tonight that I had long forgotten and I became very grateful that my mom took me to church when I was little. Now I get to pass it down to my children. It is so much fun.
